Smiling, Joey offered a hand. He had gloves on, so it was safe for him to be touched... at least somewhat okay. Anyway, he didn't want to be rude. That just wouldn't give a very good first opinion.
"Hello, sir Hunter. I am Joey Von Krause, and I'll be checking you over to see if you're company material. Now, if you'd please follow me..." Joey said, turning before walking towards an office. Hunter, obediantly, followed.

Jesse turned from Joey to snag a small stack of paperwork that was piling up on Suzie's desk. The girl had a date in about an hour so she had agreed to help her catch up. The mission was supposed to be the only thing she did for work today. Her being who she was needed some paperwork to get her mind off of the past. She made her way over to the section with her desk in it before shouting over her shoulder. "Stop in and tell me how it went before you leave!"

Hunter nodded as he walked into Joey's office. Joey sat in his chair, as he smiled at Hunter. Hunter smiled back, and took a seat.
"I heard you saved Jesse in your encounter. And she stated in the forms she filled out that your skills were quite excellent. But I have to ask some important questions, and you need to make some promises in order to get into this company. First off, what is your current occupation, and where were you born?" Joey said, taking out a pen and some forms.
"I was born in Borada, Japan. I used to be a farmer there. Nowadays I work at the local TFC at the drive through window." Hunter replied.
Joey smiled. "A farmer? Quite the occupation, I must say. I've never been one, but I have heard they work long and hard. Anyway, the next question. Are you willing to obey orders given, even if they may result in the death of a comrade?"
Hunter nodded. "Anything for the orphans."
"Orphans?" Joey asked, tilting his head to the side slightly.
"That's why I want this job. I want to help the orphans at the orphanage. They're in bad shape."
"I see. Well, it appears everything is in order. But you must promise never to mention our company to anyone outside the company. I know you got here through leaked information, but we would prefer if nobody else did as much, alright?"
"Fine by me." Hunter said, as Joey handed over a paper for him to sign. Hunter made his signature, not too incredible, but satisfactory.

A little while later, Hunter walked by Jesse's desk, and stopped. She had wanted him to stop by, so he had honored her request.
"I'm in."

Jesse looked up from her paperwork at her new friend. She smiled widely and jumped from her seat to hug him. "Congratulations! oh, here's my phone number if you ever need me for anything and be sure to call if you don't understand anything." She pushed a piece of paper into his hands and picked up the finished pile of paperwork, leaving just a few to sit on the corner of her desk. "I hope you like it here, it's really fun sometimes."

"I have a mission that starts tomorrow. I'm supposed to take out an important member of the slayers. It'll be pretty hectic. He said I could take someone along. Mind giving me a hand?" Hunter asked, scratchign his hand. She seemed like the type that wouldn't kill, but he knew she could help him get in close without being noticed.

Jesse thought about it for a moment. "It might be better for you to have a member who is better...suited for this type of things. I do paperwork and hacking. They call it information gathering but I think that's jus- right. Mission. I'll come along if you can't find anyone else or just prefer my company." She started on her way down to the paper filing room. Once there she handed her work off and checked the time. It's getting pretty late. I should head to my apartment.

Hunter nodded. He'd try to find someone else in the company to help him out. But he didn't know anybody else. Sighing, Hunter took out a cell phone, and dialed a number. The phone stopped ringing after a few seconds.
"Yea, Burns? I'm not going to be coming to work tomorrow. I have something important to do. It's for the orphans. Yea. Thanks for understanding. Bye."

Jesse was making her way out of the building when Suzie pulled her aside. "I'm so sorry Jess. They made me...Be careful..Promise me!" Jazz was shaken as her friend started to cry. She had no idea what to do. "I promise. You have to tell me what you did though." With gentle coaxing she managed to get that she had said something to someone she shouldn't have. Jesse let out a sigh, not know what to look out for was tough but still she tried to concentrate on the area around her and found she couldn't. She pulled out her small black MP3. A rustling caught her attention to the side. She took off running before she found out what it was. When she reached her apartment and finished fumbling with the lock, she practically dove for her computer. Jesse flipped it open, letters and numbers were typed until Hunter's Sintec file was pulled up. She picked up her phone and sent a short text. B CAREFUL JAZ

A text message. The ringtone for text messages went off, and Hunter pulled out his phone. How did they... They must be really good. After listening to the ringtone for a few seconds, the song Dota by Basshunter, Hunter flipped it up.
"B CAREFUL JAZZ"
Hunter smiled. He already knew as much. It was really late. He began to text in another message.
"No worriez"
And then sent it. He sighed, and drew out his gun as he began to walk down the street towards his house.
About a half hour later, Hunter arrived at his home, and unlocked the door before walking in. Nobody had ransacked his home, so all was good. After closing the door and locking it, Hunter went to bed.

Jesse broke her staring contest with the inanimate phone when it started going off, signaling a text. Normally she would've listened to the pink panther theme song someone had downloaded onto it before, but now she just flipped it open in a slight panic. "No worriez" She let out a sigh and flopped backwards onto her bed. At least that meant nothing was out of the ordinary there. Maybe there was a chance it was a stray. All these assumptions helped Jesse drift to sleep.

The next day, Hunter awoke to his normal morning routine. He got his breakfast. He took a shower. He brushed his teeth. He then proceeded to do something normal people don't do. Hunter took out his gun and knife and placed them in their holsters before placing the holsters on his belt.
"Well, I guess it's time for another day. But today is different. I start my new job today."

Jesse woke up screaming, something she rarely ever did. Her dream was the same one she had had many times before, only a little different. Instead of her boyfriend she plunged the knife into Hunter, the man she had met recently. She shakily made her way into the shower, hoping it would clear her thoughts. Getting out she felt worse than she had going in. Jazz picked up her phone before decieding against freaking out her new friend. She started humming and made her way out of the appartment, remembering to jog on the way to work. Her mind was not eased when she got there and she pulled out her pink cell and placed it safely on her desk within easy reach. "I guess this means I'm worrying too much."

Bag? Check. Gun? Check. Knife? Check. Wallet? Where was his wallet? There it was! Hunter snatched his wallet and quickly stuffed it into his side pocket before walking out the door, and calling a taxi.
"The exterminator's building. Today's my first day of work."
"Sure ting, boyo!" replied the cab driver as he pulled out.
A short drive later, Hunter arrived at the exterminator building, and walked through the front door.
"Welp, time to work!"

Jazz had been watching the door for some time now. She hadn't realized it of course though. As soon as her oddly dressed friend walked through the door she was on him. Her arms held onto his higher shoulders as she interigated him. "How can you be so calm?! Did they get to you?! What if something goes wrong? Oh god, something's off, isn't it? Have you seen Suzie? She disappeared."

"What?" Hunter asked, confused and sort of scared. Suzie was gone. Maybe she had taken the day off. Or maybe something had happened. Sighing, Hunter grabbed her hands and moved them off his shoulders.
"Relax. There's no sense in panicking. If she's gone, then we must try and find her. Maybe she took the day off, or something." Hunter replied, holding her hands.
Looking about, Hunter dropped her hands before he began to walk here and there, searching for clues.
