Jesse took a deep breath. Hunter's logic seemed solid to her but she had already turned Suzie's section upside down then right side up for clues - there weren't any.
"IAlreadyCheckedAndShe'sGoneDon'tBother." She spoke quickly using up most of her breath, a habit she reverts back to when she gets nervous. Jazz began to steady her breathing, knowing if he didn't understand her, the message wouldn't get across.
"I've flipped her area around since I got here. It's like she just disappeared. She never turns off her phone and her pager broke sometime last week. Suzie calls in every time she's sick, never more than a few minutes after her shift starts."
Jesse hung her head, trying to not make her new friend panic, though she was pretty sure he wouldn't for someone he hardly knew. Most people didn't anyway.

Suvarov looked at the phone in his hand, it had been three weeks since he first stepped foot in Texas and so far not a single solid lead, except the neat row of numbers on his screen. He’d already considered just returning to Russia, the disturbances so far had been solely in America and even if he stopped trading here he could still afford to retire quite comfortably. But no, he could not do that, there was too many unknown factors at play here, how could he possibly expect himself to plan properly with so many unknowns floating around inside his head. He needed to solve this, and he was a patient man after all.
Three weeks of probing and questioning had got him nowhere, he might have had more success if he used his more persuasive and persistent measures, but that would reveal his presence too thoroughly and leave him exposed. So now he was stuck here sitting on a park bench deciding on if he should call the mobile phone number, this little stroke of luck was a present from the universe after all. He had a description of a man, wearing some rather unique clothes and better still he happened to find a name for the face when he had stopped by the local orphanage to donate a few thousand, and the considering the state of the place it needed every ruble of it.
He pressed call, “Good day sir, I was wondering if a mister Kirizaki was present. I believe we have much to discuss regarding the orphans.”
